You will continue with the journey to Bwindi, as you enter the dense, mist-covered forests of Bwindi, feel the excitement of being in one of the richest ecosystems in Africa, home to many different species of birds, butterflies, and the endangered mountain gorillas. After breakfast, you will head to the Bwindi Forest Park Offices for morning briefing and registration on Dos and Don’t while trekking gorillas. Later, you will hike into the dense forest guided by experienced trackers on a quest to find one of Bwindi’s gorilla families. The trek can be strenuous but observing these gentle giants interact in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. After the trek, visit a community of Batwa Pygmies, indigenous forest dwellers who have maintained their traditional hunter-gatherer lifestyle for generations.
