Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest from Kampala/Entebbe and Visit Top of the World

Depart from Kampala or Entebbe for a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for having one of the highest diversity and concentration of primates in Africa. Along the way, stop at the “Top of the World,” a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the area’s crater lakes. Arrive in Kibale in the late afternoon and settle into your lodge, preparing for the next day’s chimpanzee tracking adventure.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, Kazinga Channel Launch Cruise

Begin the day with an early morning trek into Kibale Forest to track chimpanzees. Witness these incredible primates as they go about their daily lives: foraging, playing, and interacting with each other. After the trek, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see a wide array of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a rich variety of birds.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Forest NP

Start the day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for lions, elephants, leopards, and Uganda kobs in their natural habitats. After the game drive, continue the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in the evening. Rest and recharge at your lodge in preparation for the next day’s gorilla trek.

Day 4: Gorilla Trek and Visit Batwa Pygmies/Pangolin Rescue Center
